I am so thrilled to finally share that I’ve been cast in Escape to Margaritaville the Musical at Theatre Silco in Silverthorne, Colorado this August! I’ll be playing Tammy—everyone’s favorite ride-or-die best friend, and I get to sing one of the most iconic Jimmy Buffett songs of all time: "Cheeseburger in Paradise." (Cue the steel drums and cravings for a beachside grill.)

This show is a dream for so many reasons. For one, it’s full of sunshine, laughter, friendship, romance, and of course, Jimmy Buffett’s timeless music which Is perfect for the summer. But even more personally, this music has always had a special place in my heart. I grew up listening to Jimmy Buffett every summer on the boat with my family—those songs are the soundtrack to my childhood, my memories, and my love for adventure. Getting to perform them onstage feels like coming full circle in the best way.

Even more exciting? This is my first-ever out-of-state contract! I’m officially heading west, and I can’t imagine a more beautiful place to do it than Colorado. Silverthorne is surrounded by mountains, lakes, and views that are absolutely postcard-worthy. It’s one of my favorite states, and I feel so lucky to be calling it home for the next several weeks.

I’m hopping on a plane today (!!) to start rehearsals and meet the cast and creative team. I cannot wait to dive into this joyous, silly, heartfelt show with them. Whether you’re a Parrothead or just looking for a summer escape, Escape to Margaritaville is the perfect island getaway—with just the right amount of tequila, two-step, and tropical charm.

🎭 Performances run from August 8th through August 31st at Theatre Silco 🎭

Mark your calendars and book your tickets early!

If you’re anywhere near Colorado in August, come see us! Grab your flip flops, your island spirit, and maybe even a cheeseburger in paradise. 🌞🍹🌺

With love and SPF,

Sydne (Tammy)
